You can reduce the time it takes to complete your degree and save time and money on your college education. Students who participate in Dual Enrollment can take specified college level courses in high school during regular school hours.

What are Career Pathways?

How will my child benefit from Career Pathways?
Dual Enrollment allows students to:
• Earn college and high school credit at the same time
• Save money on college tuition and textbooks
• Complete college earlier
• Eliminate duplication of class work during the first year of college
Here's how it works:
High School Districts and Maricopa Community Colleges have joined together to create articulation agreements. These legal agreements are authorized under the Arizona Revised Statues (A.R.S.) 11-952, 15-342(13) and 15-1444(B) (4) and ARS15-1821.01. And describe details for Career Pathway classes to count as college credit at a Maricopa Community Colleges.
Students who receive a letter grade of “B” or better in approved articulated course are eligible. Each of the school districts within Western Maricopa Tech Prep has a specific application procedures so please follow the link to your district and then high school.
